There’s nothing more satisfying than a fresh manicure — and nothing more frustrating than early chipping.
First, preparation is everything. Proper nail prep, including cuticle care and gentle buffing, ensures better polish adhesion. Skipping this step is the main reason polish lifts early.
Second, thin layers are key. Thick coats take longer to cure and chip more easily. Two to three thin layers always last longer than one heavy coat.
Hydration also plays a big role. Applying cuticle oil daily keeps the nail flexible, reducing cracks and peeling.
Finally, avoid using your nails as tools. Opening cans or scratching hard surfaces weakens the structure and shortens the lifespan of your manicure.
A long-lasting manicure isn’t luck — it’s technique.
